I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Boulder, Colorado, working with adults and mature adolescents struggling with anxiety and depression, relationship issues, trauma and PTSD, encountering life transitions, and seeking personal growth and performance enhancement.

I am fascinated with the workings of the human mind and the new field of interpersonal neurobiology (the neuroscience of human experience), and translating these findings into effective psychotherapy. I am particularly interested in the ways in which we can change the quality of our lives by healing attachment wounds, restoring our sense of goodness and openness with ourselves and others.

I have had wonderful teachers to learn from, including: Hakomi with Ron Kurtz; neuroscience and Mindsight with Dr. Daniel Siegel; Adult Attachment Interview with Mary Main;  Polyvagal Theory with Dr. Stephen Porges, EMDR for Complex PTSD with Deborah Korn; and many others. I am currently in my second year of training with Dr. Stan Tatkin in his Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy.

I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Certified EMDR Therapist, and a Certified Hakomi Therapist. As a Clinical Facilitator in EMDR Trainings since 2005, I lead EMDR Consultation Groups for therapists in the Boulder and Denver area. I spent four wonderful years as a Teaching Assistant with Hakomi Therapist Training.

My first career was working with complex, interdependent software systems. A lifelong interest in astrology led me to apprentice with Steven Forrest as an Evolutionary Astrologer. The practice of mindfulness meditation continues to be a foundation I draw upon for balance and meaning in modern life. I have an abiding faith in the process of learning to embody our most radiant, authentic selves.
